The Temano® 150L buoys are in the Arctic Ocean !
Temano supplies the Norwegian Meteorological Institute with mooring buoys as part of the IWIN project.At the end of 2024, Temano® 150L buoys were deployed in the Norwegian fjords, at Isfjorden, to contribute to ocean observation.
These buoys measure wave height and temperature variations using scientific instruments. They are part of a meteorological monitoring network in response to the challenges of climate change.
Their non-foam (hollow) structure allows for the integration of scientific equipment in waterproof compartments, providing a robust and reliable solution for extreme environments.
